Maybe I should be embarrassed to admit it (but I’m not)… Mother’s Day is pretty much my favorite day of the year. I LOVE Mother’s Day. I love all holidays, but let’s face it, most holidays involve a lot of fun and a lot of work for mom. Don’t get me wrong, it’s worth it! I love creating memories for my kids… but magic doesn’t just “happen” people!
UNLESS it’s Mother’s Day. On Mother’s Day I wake up feeling the magic. My kids behave (mostly). We spend the day as a family. They snuggle and giggle and I remember how incredibly blessed I am to have four beautiful children. On Mother’s Day I get to bask in the glow of my little family and I don’t have to nag anyone. It’s amazing.
Growing up all I ever wanted to be was a teacher and a mother. I am blessed. Today I got to enjoy watching the eyes of my students sparkle as they giggled their way through our Mother’s Day craftivity. Love.
